USPTO patent activity associated with a public company. Pass ticker and optionally a from/to window (YYYY-MM-DD; defaults to ~2 years); returns each record with the application number, patent number (when granted), the filing company name(s), description/title, patent type, filing status, filing and publication dates, and a document URL. A company-level innovation/R&D signal (distinct from our keyword patent search). Data by Finnhub.

There is no signup and no API key. An agent (or any HTTP client) hits the endpoint, receives an x402 "402 Payment Required" challenge, signs a sub-cent USDC payment on Base or Solana, and retries — the data comes back on the paid request. That makes it a drop-in patents data source for an agent tool-use loop, an MCP host, or a backend that needs stocks data on demand without onboarding to yet another vendor portal.
