NBA players from balldontlie — search by name and page through results. Each player: id, name, position, height, weight, jersey number, college, country, draft year, and current team. Cursor-paginated (pass meta.cursor as cursor to continue).
/api/sports/nba-playersPAYMENT-SIGNATURE.The nba players API is a pay-per-call sports endpoint built for AI agents and autonomous software. NBA players from balldontlie — search by name and page through results.
There is no signup and no API key. An agent (or any HTTP client) hits the endpoint, receives an x402 "402 Payment Required" challenge, signs a sub-cent USDC payment on Base or Solana, and retries — the data comes back on the paid request. That makes it a drop-in nba players data source for an agent tool-use loop, an MCP host, or a backend that needs sports data on demand without onboarding to yet another vendor portal.
