Detect Chinese in text: whether it contains Han characters, how many, total length, and a script classification — simplified, traditional, mixed, or han-common (characters identical in both scripts). Deterministic, keyless. Route text to the right pipeline or pick a conversion direction before calling chinese.convert.
/api/chinese/detectPAYMENT-SIGNATURE.The detect API is a pay-per-call chinese endpoint built for AI agents and autonomous software. Detect Chinese in text: whether it contains Han characters, how many, total length, and a script classification — simplified, traditional, mixed, or han-common (characters identical in both scripts).
There is no signup and no API key. An agent (or any HTTP client) hits the endpoint, receives an x402 "402 Payment Required" challenge, signs a sub-cent USDC payment on Base or Solana, and retries — the data comes back on the paid request. That makes it a drop-in detect data source for an agent tool-use loop, an MCP host, or a backend that needs chinese data on demand without onboarding to yet another vendor portal.
